You must activate your virtual payment card before you can use it. You can do this in your benefits account on the top right, in the Settings section. Don't know if your card is already activated? If you see Yes in the Card is activated box, then everything is fine and you can use the card fully without any further steps. If you also have a plastic Benefit Plus card, there is no need to reactivate the card. The virtual card is just another form of payment for benefits. What's important to the merchant is the card number they enter into the system and the 6-digit number that will come to you via sms if you exceed the daily limit. With the virtual card we have only replaced the plastic card, the card is not necessary for the actual payment as it is "only" a carrier of the number.
If there is a No in this box, enter your mobile number, mail and click Activate. A one-time 6-digit code will also be sent to this phone number, which must be entered when purchasing leisure benefits. Therefore, it is advisable to enter the phone number you carry most often.
You have activated your card and there is nothing stopping you from using it with our partners. For a current list of merchant locations where you can pay with the Benefit Plus virtual card, click on Benefits List. In the dark filter box, tick the "Payment by card" box.
How do I pay with the Benefit Plus virtual card?
When you pay, you dictate your card number to the merchant, who handles the entire payment process. If the amount to be paid exceeds €20, an SMS will be sent to your mobile phone with a code that you dictate to the merchant, who will complete the payment process. The payment is complete and you can leave in peace.
The payment method may vary from merchant to merchant. You can check your benefit account with the specific provider for a detailed description of the merchant, including the payment method. No worries, the provider will always transfer the payment to you.
Do you have a Benefit Plus plastic card? You don't need to physically carry it with you at all when you pay, you just need the card number and, if applicable, the barcode, which you can find in the mobile app. You can download our mobile app for free on Google Play or the App Store. You will have your virtual card with you at all times, and you can also check the points balance on your account at any time.
